We are proud to announce the four members of our program who have been selected to participate in the 2016 FBA MS All District Jazz Band this year:

Alexis Miller (2nd tenor sax), Christian Clem (lead trombone), Caleb Allen (bass trombone) and Noah Campbell (3rd trumpet)

All of the student musicians who were selected will rehearse and hold a concert on Saturday, April 30th at 1pm at Mount Dora High School.

The 2016 All State Band Audition Information is available by visiting the Florida Bandmasters Page. On this page are links for requirements for both Middle School Concert Band Auditions and Middle School Jazz Band Auditions, which will be held at East Ridge Middle School on September 19. If you are interested in taking any or both auditions, you must register with Mr. Venezio and submit $12 for each audition by August 31.

Information for the Florida Vocal Association’s All State Choral Auditions have not yet become available. Interested students should visit the Florida Vocal Association’s website for written exam study guides and here for sight reading study materials.
