CLMS MUSIC DPT LOGO1Welcome to the official Internet home of the Clermont Middle School Music Department. We are located in beautiful Clermont, Florida, the “Choice of Champions”.  Clermont is a suburb of Orlando and is situated in the south end of Lake County, Florida.

The Clermont Middle School Music Department serves approximately 160 total student musicians, over 25% of the total school population.  Our program is made up of Beginning Band, Symphonic Band, Falcon Singers, numerous chamber ensembles and the nationally acclaimed “Flight of Sound” Jazz Ensemble.

In addition to the ensembles, the Clermont Middle School Music Department also features a very active chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society which is made up of the top students from both areas of the department.

As members of the Clermont Middle School Music Department, students learn skills that will make them successful in high school and out in the world.  Responsibility, reliability, dedication, leadership and community involvement are just some of the skills members of music ensembles gain.
